Well, we thought the Christmas party was a great success. 36 people came along including 11 newcomers and guests.
Shirley Ebdell made another of her splendid cakes. Mags Adlam led the festive music and encouraged everyone to join in. We got a bit tangled with the bell ringing, but it didn't matter at all, it was such fun and caused a lot of laughter. read more »
About 30 people attended this interesting update. It was good to see additional Carers present. Jean Parker of the Norwich & District Carers Forum brought information and updates on many topics and introduced Carol from the Night Owls. She talked about the 24 hour unplanned help that is available day or night, (Night Owls & Swifts) -about Teleshopping, and Falls Prevention. read more »

Talk by Shirley Ebdell, at Memorial Hall. Shirley told us that she has been a carer on and off for about 30 years. She has worked in Nursing Homes as well as Care Homes and as a Housemother in a Boarding School with 50 girls between the ages of 9 - 16. She has been a private live-in carer and also an agency carer and had many interesting tales to tell. read more »
