More than 44 people supported this event which raised £129.00 for the Christmas Party. Many thanks to everyone who contributed, especially those at The Falcon. See you all on December 16th.

Like many people I have a phone package that gives me free calls to standard numbers (those beginning with 01 or 02) but this don't apply to 0844, 0845, 0870 or 0871 telephone numbers. No problems I thought, I'll just use my mobile with its inclusive minutes. Turns out in the small print that they also charge extra for these calls!  read more »

18 people came to hear Barry Woods give us some simple advice on safety at home. He was a police constable for 22 years and offered many tips including the how to look out for each other. Anyone interested in using a walking stick for self defence – courses are apparently available!

About 20 attended this August event and enjoyed scones and fresh fruit. It was good to be able to chat and pick up some suggestions for future events. Thanks to those contributing.

Costessey Carers Support Group have booked and organised a three night/four day trip to Blackpool in Sept., for Carers and Cared for in an adapted hotel. Half board, two half day trips, ride along the front to see the lights, caberet every evening, good friendly souls for company, why not ask Lorna for details as we have a limited number of places still available.  read more »
