Everyone agreed that Rosemarie was a brilliant speaker and her experiences were very interesting. She spokewith great sensitivity and humour. The St George's cake, courtesy of Shirley Ebdell, was delicious. Recipe available on request. We enjoyed the red roses and little flags and everyone entered into the little quiz about Georges and dragons.

This meeting was fraught with challenges. First, the expected speaker was unwell and his replacement hadn't done it before. She also had to use a slightly longer DVD as the planned one, and it's projector, was with the guy off sick. But Fred Howard came up trumps with the technology and expertise to save the day and everyone present thoroughly enjoyed it.
